DANNY FINGEROTH was a longtime editor and writer for Marvel Comics, best known for his longtime stint as editor of the company’s SPIDER-MAN line if titles. He wrote the entire run of the DARKHAWK series as well as THE DEADLY FOES OF SPIDER-MAN limited series and many other comics featuring Marvel mainstays including THE FANTASTIC FOUR and IRON MAN.
Danny has taught comics writing and appreciation at NEW YORK UNIVERSITY, THE NEW SCHOOL, and at THE MiMASTER INSTITUTE in Milan, Italy. He is Sr VP of Education at New York’s Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MoCCA), and has spoken on comics at venues including The Smithsonian Institution and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Danny is the author of Superman on the Couch: What Superheroes Really Tell Us About Ourselves and Our Society; Disguised as Clark Kent: Jews, Comics and the Creation of the Superhero; The Rough Guide to Graphic Novels; and co-author (with Mike Manley) ofHow to Create Comics from Script to Print.
